Smart Step counts steps in the background and shows at a glance how the day is going: steps against the daily goal, plus distance, calories and active minutes. A weekly overview with progress rings makes habits visible.
What sets it apart is the AI coach: using a real AI interface (Google Gemini), the app interprets the current progress, gives short, motivating insights and answers training questions in a chat. Android and iOS share a single codebase built with Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Background step counting — keeps running reliably, with live progress in the notification; can be paused at any time
- Daily overview — steps against the daily goal, plus kilometres, calories and active minutes, and the 7-day average
- AI insights on the home screen — a short, motivating take on the day — refreshed only when it matters, e.g. on app start or when the goal is reached
